PN1-NC, Fitness Nutrition Coach, Sports Nutrition Specialist, & Director of Sports Performance

What’s up! My name is Jarred and I’m a PN1-NC, Fitness Nutrition Coach & Sports Nutrition Specialist that really, really digs food. Throughout my years as a fitness and nutrition professional, I’ve discovered a few things to be pretty universally true. One, nutrition as an overall subject can seem extremely overwhelming. And two, the only “diets”, or lifestyles as I would prefer to call them, that truly, truly work long-term, are the ones you’re able to stick to. Simple as that.

Before we get into specifics, let me tell you a little more about myself. Fitness & Nutrition haven’t always been passions of mine, and growing up I certainly didn’t picture that I would one day be the one encouraging other kids to eat their broccoli and spinach! Life is funny sometimes though and leads us in directions we never could’ve imagined. A few years after my playing career was over, I started working out again, researching and learning what I could to maximize the results of the work I was putting in.

I quickly learned how intricate the process was and just how MASSIVE the role of nutrition was to my results. Who knew, lol. This led to a bit of an obsession to learn everything I could. During this time, I competed in multiple physique competitions, attained my certifications as a PN1-NC, Fitness Nutrition Coach & Sports Nutrition Specialist, and even started my first coaching business in 2017.

Since then, I’ve worked with numerous individuals ranging from professional athletes to stay-at-home moms. From fine-tuning competition day nutrition strategies, to simply teaching overall fundamental health practices, I’ve found that I have a passion for providing real, genuine value in other’s lives. I’ve also found that nutrition is an area I’m able to do that really well! I have a unique ability to relate to those I work with, and I take a lot of pride in watching each individual’s confidence grow. I like to teach my clients that if we switch our mindset from a restrictive, “I can’t eat that” mentality, to a “food is fuel and I have the ability to choose” approach, it becomes a whole new ballgame!
